It works ok if the drill press speed is down to almost nothing. It's a dangerous tool if the workpiece is not securely clamped, and then, it works very slowly even on plywood. If there were hole cutters of 6 to 8 inch diameter I'd use them instead of this device.

While using this tool on 1/8" aluminum, the arm kept getting loose. After it threw arm out twice I discontinued using it. Maybe it would be ok for much thinner material.

Nice tool, but I thought that I was getting a wheel cutter and instead this is a "hole" cutter....it makes a difference whether the tip is on the outside of the cutting path or the inside
